A week or two on the water routes of the Żuławy Loop - more than one head and heart will light up to this perspective. And then it goes out. There are doubts - what to swim? Of course, a chartered motor yacht, or a hausbot. Okay, but how are you doing? And what about permissions? Many of us have always wanted to make a patent, but eight out of ten ended up dreaming about a water trip ... Well, our time has come, unfulfilled sea wolves! No more excuses - modern and well-equipped hausbots are carried out easily as a car with support, and since 2010 you do not need any special powers to guide them. I mean - control it. Instead of looking for excuses, it's better to start learning a professional water dictionary.

It's easy - just book your chosen yacht and come to the agreed marina. However, before we embark on a cruise, intensive training will be needed. Everyone passes them, regardless of whether they have sailing experience or not. The program includes the theory: current regulations, signs on the trail, the way of swimming on the Vistula - and practice: a yacht on the yacht and maneuvers with the unit, including the approach to the quay. The training is carried out, even if a freshly baked helmsman took several hours. None of the questions and doubts will remain unanswered.

Charterers of hausbots receive - apart from boats, of course - a set of information materials, such as a set of maps and route routes with a list of all hydrotechnical equipment along the way. At any time, you can check at what time the drawbridge rises (and some of them on the route we will see) or under which number to call, to open the airlock, which we just have to swim. The Żuławska Loop is the best organized water route in the country, and despite the fact that it runs through very diverse waters, we will always find a comfortable haven and a helping hand in all marked out points.

As for what we find under the hood - we have a reliable Yamaha engine with a power of min. 30 HP, echosounder and bow thruster for maneuvering at approaches to the quay or in locks, thanks to which it will be as easy as parking a car or passing through a barrier in a shopping mall; even the steering wheel behind the windshield will remind us something. We can count on a roofed cockpit with a fairing, a minimum of three batteries with a charger, photovoltaic panels, a dashboard with the most important indicators, installation of 12V cruise time and 230V when connected in a port. There are also comfortable berths, heating, fridge, gas stove, sink, toilet, boiler, two showers, in the bathroom and in the cockpit, tanks - drinking water (minimum 100L) and fuel (minimum 75L). If we add a radio, a DVBT antenna and a LED TV to the hot water, heating and refrigerator, it will mean that we will not miss anything that we were afraid to leave in our cozy apartment - and that we can boldly take the whole family on the trip, including even small ones children.

On the yacht you will find everything you need, except clothes for different weather. In addition to them, you need to buy sleeping bags or bedding, sunglasses, a cap with a visor, sunscreen and water-soluble rubber. In addition to what is personal, our boat is a real floating house with all kitchen equipment (we can even find a pasta strainer and a wine opener, for a romantic Italian supper under the Żuławy sky as it found ...) At our disposal are still first aid kit, torch and cutting knife fishing nets and everything you need on the water: paddles, ropes, vests, lifebuoys, bouncers and two anchors, not to mention the tools and a spare canister with gasoline.

If we would like to immerse ourselves deeply into the vicinity of the ports or marinas (and there is a place to dive in), bring the bicycles with us. When booking a charter, just check the option with the luggage rack mounted on a double track. And what else to think about? Well, unless someone is missing a pizza on the phone during anchoring in a small bay at the mouth of the Nogat ... But it's doubtful that someone would read the text about charter without permission to this place.
