The city Ostróda lies on Lakeland “Iławskie”, the town is surrounded by numerous lakes, only within the city limits lies five lakes. Ostroda history dates back to the tenth century, where he lived in the vicinity of two pagan tribes. In 1270 years had the first settlements of the Teutonic Knights and a wooden guardhouse.
