Sztutowo is a small village situated on the Żuławy Wiślane, just above the waters of the Gulf of Gdansk. The first mention of the village dates back to 1432. After the first partition of Polish Sztutowo was incorporated into Prussia. In 1919 Sztutowo is the Free City of Gdańsk, after the outbreak of the Second World War city is included in the Third Reich. During the Second World War in the village worked Nazi concentration camp Stutthof - it was the longest established concentration camp outside of Germany before the war, now in the former camp Stutthof Museum operates. In 1945 the plant to the city is included in the Polish and German origin population has been displaced.

Sztutowo a typical tourist destination using the position of the Gulf of Gdansk and the nearby Vistula Lagoon. There are plenty of rooms for rent, groceries, at every turn there are restaurants and fish fry. In the village there are two stops Żuławska Commuter Rail, on the banks of the Wisła Królewiecka is located private marina. From here walk in about 30 minutes walking to the sandy beaches bordering the Gulf of Gdansk. Sztutowo is a must in your onward travel on the Vistula Lagoon water or to Gdansk by Szkarpawa.
